According to the Green Bay Press-Gazette, the Packers are getting ready to release Jimmy Graham, saving $5 million in cap space ahead of free agency this off-season.
Graham, who signed a $30 million contract last off-season, didn't quite live up to expectations, hauling in 52 receptions on 85 targets ( 61.1% CMP) for 615 yards and a meager 2 TD's.
It will be interesting to see who will be willing to take a shot on the aging tight end once free agency opens up. The Jaguars notably released Austin Sefarian-Jenkins this week and would be looking to possibly fill that roster spot with a seasoned veteran to pair with their next signal-caller.
